Lemon Fast Distortion
Lemon Fast Distortion is a light, quick distortion. Use it to add grit to a bass, bite to a drum loop or a bit of edge to a vocal, without a lot of setup.
It’s built into Lemon Studio, and also comes as a VST3 and CLAP plugin for other DAWs.

Add some grit
Section titled “Add some grit”- Put Lemon Fast Distortion in an effect slot on a mixer track.
- Raise PRE AMP to push the sound harder into the distortion.
- Turn THRESHOLD to set how much of the sound gets distorted. The curve on the right shows the result.
- Try the two TYPE curves, A and B, and keep the one you like.
- Pull MIX back to blend some of the clean sound in, and use POST GAIN to even out the level.
The controls
